Although everything on the following list isn't necessary, please bring what you think you may need to photograph a wedding:

• Camera bodies
• Lenses
• Memory cards
• Extra batteries
• Off camera lighting: flashes/strobes, light stands, umbrellas, modifiers, triggers, etc.
• Reflector
• Tripod
• Staging props for the detailed shots: small mirror, battery operated Christmas lights, burlap, pieces of lace, pearls, etc,
• Stepstool - unless you're tall! 🙂
• Notebook to take notes
• Business cards to network with the photographers/vendors

The Workshop & Hands-on Coaching tickets are $199 and include an hour and half workshop session before the main event starts where Esther - a former wedding photographer for nine years - will go over what it takes to be a primary and secondary shooter.  This workshop is geared toward photographers who want to get into weddings. Esther will also be accompanying this group through all the stations sharing hands-on tips and answering questions.

1. Getting Ready  & Details - this station will be in the ginormous bridal suite.  Two model brides will be stationed in this room: one in a robe getting her makeup touched up by the artist, and another in a wedding dress to practice bridal portraits and detailed shots.  There will also be a dress hanging on a hanger and other detail elements to photograph.
2. Groom & Details - this station is in the Groom's Room off the men's bathroom with one male model. We will also have another bride's details area set up in the Mini Suite just off the ladies' bathroom.
3. Ceremony - the private hall will be set up and decorated in a boho theme to practice processionals, ceremony, and recessionals.  There will be a married-in-real-life couple who will be modeling. They can also pose for bride and groom portraits.
4. Group Portraits - this station will be setup to practice Bride/Groom portraits as well as group/family portraits.

We are currently planning on a pizza party, but there are also plenty of options within 5 minutes of the venue.

Please upload your pictures to a public gallery of some kind where all the vendors can access them to use in their marketing.  Many of the vendors are ok with your putting a small watermark in the lower right hand corner of your images, but please consider leaving them watermark free so that they can use them to the fullest.  🙂  They are more likely to use one your images if it's not watermarked and still give you photo credit.  🙂

Normally, styled shoots like this cost $250.00+ per ticket, but our vendors and models have been very gracious to meet us part way so that we can keep the cost down by trading some services with them.  Let's bless them like they've blessed us!

Unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds due to having to pay our vendors upfront.  If you absolutely can't make it, please let us know, and we'll do our absolute best to help find someone to buy your ticket.
